Jewish Surnames

This is a comprehensive list of Jewish surnames (last names). While this list is extensive, it is not complete. NOTE- THERE ARE A FEW NAMES WITHIN THIS LIST THAT ARE ALSO USED BY SOME NON-JEWS. Usually, when enough Jews take certain Gentile names, more and more non-jews stop using those names, but there are cases when old family names survive. The original names were not jewish. There are also exclusively Jewish names such as Levi, Cohen, Stein; variations, prefixes such as “Eisen,” “Lev” “Rabin,” “Roth,” suffixes such as “baum, berg, witz, feld, lieb, thal, stein, and middle, (before the last name)- “Ben” and “Bar,” to cite a few examples. Most of the names listed below are almost exclusively used by Jews. In addition, many Jews take Gentile names in order to hide their Jewish identity. Many Jewish names also have to do with extreme wealth, money, “Gam” (tax collector), “Goveh” (treasurer), “Gold” “Goldberg” (mountain of gold), Silver, Silverstein (silver stone), Greenberg, and so forth.

Here are the most common Jewish names likely to be encountered by non-jews:
-Names ending in “-berg” (Goldberg, Weinberg, etc.)
-Names ending in “-man” (Goldman, Lightman, etc.)
-Names ending in “-stein” (Einstein, Perlstein, etc.)
-Names that sound “precious” (Gold, Silver, Diamond, etc.)
-Names ending in “-ler” (Adler, Midler, etc.)
-Names ending in “-ner” (Asner, Lardner, etc.)
-Names ending in “-lin” (Gitlin, Sheindlin, etc.)
-Names ending in “-witz” (Horowitz, Rabinowitz, etc.) or “-itz” (Kravitz, etc.)
-Names ending in “-baum” (Teitelbaum, Metzenbaum, etc.)
-Names ending in “-off” (Chartoff, Berkhoff, etc.)
-Names ending in “-nik” (Resnik, Mitnik, etc.)
-Names ending in “-thal” (Blumenthal, Rosenthal, etc.)
-Names ending in “-ling” (Spelling, Sperling, etc.)
-Names ending in “-sky” (Barshefsky, Linsky, etc.)
-Names ending in “-farb” (Himmelfarb, Goldfarb, etc.)
-Names ending in “-feld” (Seinfeld, Rosenfeld, etc.)
-Names ending in “-stone” (Wellstone, Firestone, etc.)
-Some, but certainly not all, names ending in “-son” (Abelson, Josephson, etc.)

  1. TM Claude says:

Once worked for an extremely wealthy and nutty jew family here in Texas. Add the name Rich to your list

  2. exposing jews says:

I always told people about jews having last names but those same people thought I was crazy. They are the same people who believe that the jews are their friends. Their typical response is always the usual “you are racist”or something to the lines of “you nazi” or “anti-semite”. It is funny they how they use these words but do know do their own research who made up anti-semite or even the term racist. When I bring up the fact that leon trotsky the communist soviet jew used the term racist as his excuse to kill off millions of russians, they dont have an answer for that. You cannot also bring up the fact that the rothschild kikes are behind all of this besides karl marx and the other rat face jews are behind all ills using anti-semite as a weapon in their disposal. What is also funny is a kike cannot use anti-semite in the weapon against arabs so thats why they call them terrorists. If you bring up the fact that arabs are semites they lose their arguement in them being anti-semites. These walking double standards and fraudulent self chosen people need to be dealt with not with words but the best way like they have done to us. We need to make their world a living hell but not to pretend that they will change their ways because their gene pool is not like ours like they said because they are beyond repair.

  3. Of note, the common surname Miller. Is the 3rd most common jewish surname. I’m sure Smith in number 1, and so forth…

    • Yeah, I used to think “Smith” was an “American” surname until I figured this all out. Even for a while I thought it was just a regular name. I spent some time doing telemarketing/fundraising, and it was well known to us that Smith was the name with the most entries in the phone book. There are so many of them it’s not even funny.

      • Yeah, a whole lot of them is right! I did the same thing years ago, looking through a phone book, and Smith dominated pages of the phone book. Didn’t think much of it at the time. It wasn’t until later, when I found out how jews hide their identity through surnames. Not to mention all the jews who hide with surnames like: Williams, Johnson, Miller etc…..

        • What’s funny is how I thought those were the “average American” type of names, and then I started noticing so many politicians, media personalities, bankers, etc. all had Polish, Russian, and I thought, why do so many of them have so many oddball names? It’s a whole different perspective once your eyes are opened to it.

          • Scott H Smith says:

Hey, As you can see I’m a Smith and I have absolutely no jewish blood.

          • It’s possible. Many blacks are named Jones, Smith, and other jewish names because they got their names from their owners.

          • Ditto on jews using Slavic surnames. I’m a owner/operator, being on the road all day six days a week I always keep an eye out for names. Always have for some unknown reason even before I was jew aware. We have a large population of people with Polish ancestry here in Southeast Michigan so I see alot of names ending in ski, sky, wicz, cki, etc.. For example, I was driving by this medical center on the way back to the hub I deliver parts out of. I noticed one of the doctors surnames was Mortesky, a common surname amongst jews from eastern Europe.

          • My last name is Slavic origin as well, Serbia is where it originated, In Serbia it would be spelled Kajganic, not sure how common a surname name is over there, but it’s quite possible some jews are using it, haven’t found anything yet. I’ll have to keep digging. mike illitch comes to mind he’s a jew yet he claims Macedonian heritage, but that last name isn’t Slavic, it’s a faux Slavic surname.

  4. You mean to tell me my great grandma Schultz was a Jewess? Terrible! I think you need to add a disclaimer to that one as well… unless you know something I don’t!

    • These are common jewish surnames. It doesn’t mean all of them are jews. Schultz is more often than not jewish though.

      • A considerable number of the names above are very common German names.
No doubt some Jews carry them as well, but that doesn’t mean that they are Jewish names. “Schultz” and “Schmidt” (Smith anglicized) “Meyer”, “Zimmerman” are some the most common German names. All of them are actually derived from a profession. And it is seriously unlikely that as a minority Jews would hold most of these jobs. Schulz (the mayor of a village) Schmidt
(blacksmith) Meyer (administrator of a agricultural property) and Zimmerman ( carpenter)
A couple of other names are derived from places in Germany. Anybody coming into a new town would be probably referred to as to where he came from e.g. “der Berliner” or “der Hamburger”, pun intended.

        • Yes, many names that are commonly held by jews are stolen from the countries they infested. The thing is, it’s very common to find jews with these names, and that’s why they are here. The most populous name in America is SMITH, and it’s mostly ALL jews. Same with the name “Jones” and others that people think are “American” sounding names.

    • Jacob Strauss says:

I have the name schultz in my family. Jews like to steal German names since many of them are from there.

    • Jacob Strauss says:

I have the name schultz in my family. Jews like to steal German names since many of them are from there.

  5. Is Solarz Jewish surname?

  6. Do you think Bond surname is jewish? it sounds like crypo-jew surname

  7. All you people are morons. Being a Jew has nothing to do with “blood” nor are Jews are race or nationality. Many non Jews from Europe also have changed their surnames to assimilate into America.

There are many names that both Christians and Jews share.

  8. It is what comes out of a man that shows his or her character.

Was Benjamin Friedman a horrible man for coming out from amongst his people ?
He exposed them , and use his own money to do so .

  9. Seth Griffen says:

I posted in another forum on this site about names, forgot were i posted it and wish i would have posted it here. The common majority that use those German surnames ARE jews, but the truth is that they are GERMAN names. “jews” only usurp the names of their host nations, and its to keep from being detected. The majority of them using German names from their last infestation of that great German nation but as you know, they are trying to change those German names for more “American” (sounding) names but all “American” names are only names brought with us all from our last European migration and not actually “American” at all. Its the same with ALL White nations…within ALL White nations there is a hook nosed population using the names of the host peoples, its true in Germany, its true in Russia and its true in every other White nation upon the earth. You will know them by their “fruits”, by the things that they DO!

  10. Always expelled says:

How to recognize the comrades easiest and least worldwide? By Names? The local language adapted.

“So far, the Jewish existence has only to have been enough to shake idol throne, but not erect a throne of God. That’s what makes the strangeness of Jewish existence in the midst of the nations [2]. Judaism pretends the Absolute teaching, but in fact it only teaches that voting against the life of nations, rather, it is this’ no and no more.” – Martin Buber – http://de.metapedia.org/wiki/Buber,_Martin

“Only when the war propaganda of the victors has held the vanquished entered the history books and is believed by the next generations, the re-education may be considered succeeded as real.” – Walter Lippmann – Jewish writer and editor of the New York World [13]

1992 wrote the former US Secretary of State James Baker:
“Der Spiegel” No. 13 of March 1992 – James Baker III Adison:
“We made Hitler a monster, a devil. Therefore we could after the war no longer move away from that. Had we but mobilized the masses against the devil himself. So we were forced after the war, play this devil scenario. We could not possibly have our people realize that the war was just an economic preventive measure …
Today we have to join any mess. We can not say that everything was a lie with the extermination of the Jews. The entire world order would collapse.
We need every Holocaust film praising as authentic and every Holocaust museum fund. When we get out, we have (are?) delivered.”

„Meir is a Jewish masculine given name and an occasional surname. It means “one who shines”[1] It is often Germanized or Anglicized as Mayer, Meyer, Meier or Myer.[2]„

    Benjamin H. Freedman:

The (real) German Folk thanks his Jews – from 1933 emigrated to the United States, to come after 1945 as always expelled survivors back – for all lovely Actions, not only in WW II.

6 Mio. DEF (Deutsche Wehrmacht as Disarmed Enemy Forces) were killed by stupid US GI`s AFTER WW II in Orders by the Jews Rosenfeld (Roosevelt) and Eisenhauer (Eisenhower) at the Rheinwiesenlager.
